About Me

As far back as I can remember I have loved babies and been fascinated by pregnancy and newborns. I’ve purposely surrounded myself with women in their childbearing years and their families. Taking those years of experience, the love and passion I have for supporting women and combining it with my own experiences as a mother of 3 I am excited and honored to be invited into the lives of young families. I have attended more than 140 births and every birth I attend has made me feel more and more in awe of women and their strength. I hope that my gentle support both hands-on and with information, as well as encouragement, will be just what you need to feel empowered by your birth experience. I want partners to feel empowered too! Having a doula in no way replaces your partner's role but can allow them to give you their best support possible by also being supported themselves.

In those early, often overwhelming, days and months of having a new babe at home I’d love to come in to your home and help you with a variety of needs. Some of the areas I can help you with are breastfeeding support, sibling transitions, baby soothing, supporting babies and mothers with special needs, supporting families welcoming twins and practical household tasks.
